*Considered by some to be a funny cat when he wants to be, Sean “Diddy” Combs  will put on his comedy hat next week when he heads the tongue-in-cheek tributes to TV executive Stephen Hill at an industry ‘roast’ in New York.

Combs will be joined by actors Gabrielle Union, Nick Cannon, Anthony Anderson and (comedian) Mike Epps to help honor Hill in funny fashion at the City of Hope’s fourth annual Music and Entertainment Industry event.

For those who don’t know, Hill (pictured above with Diddy) serves as the president of music programming and specials for BET Networks. He also executive produces the BET Honors and BET Hip-Hop Awards. The roast is scheduled for December 9.

Meanwhile, via Twitter, Diddy has urged the producers and writers of “Saturday Night Live” to include him on the sketches for tonight’s show:

“Attn @NBCSNL! No De Niro skit yet? Well it’s live TV so I’m telling u I’m doing a skit with Robert De Niro. Better have a script ready for me. LOL,”

Look for the music mogul to perform with his female group/duo Dirty Money on the show as well.
