*Star Jones is now on to bigger and better things. She was just named the Editor-at-Large at Uptown magazine.
The former “The View” diva will make her column debut in the special Weddings and Travel issue of the magazine in next year’s first edition.
Uptown is a unique publication that specializes in the lavish lives of affluent African Americans.
“As an accomplished attorney and television personality, Star represents Uptown’s readers and will bring added ‘star power’ to our consumers,” said Editor-in-Chief Keija Minor.
Jones’ role for the magazine will include a regular column contribution on topics like politics and entertainment. She’ll also write occasional features.
But that’s not the only thing she’s up to. Jones will join a slew of new celebrities on Donald Trump’s “Celebrity Apprentice” in March of next year.
And, she’s on the verge of releasing her debut novel, “The Lunch Club” that reflects her experiences at “The View.” That will be out next year as well.
