*Someone is actually suing a New York Jets player for getting hit by a snowball that he threw into the crowd following a game…two years ago.
Defensive end Shaun Ellis is being sued by a Seattle Seahawks fan who claims he suffered physical and mental pain after being hit by snow that Ellis tossed into the stands, TMZ.com reports. [Scroll down to watch.]
Video shows fans cheering and laughing as Ellis heaves a huge chunk of snow into the stands during a 2008 playoff game in Seattle. But Robert Larson isn’t laughing in court papers that detail his alleged suffering in the wake of the incident.
Larson says he experienced physical injury, humiliation, mental distress, pain and wage loss as a result of the stunt. The Seahawks season ticket holder says he was holding a pro-Seahawks sign, which made him a target.
It is not known how much money Larson is seeking.
