Video: Mayweather Unleashes ‘Don’t You Know Who I Am?’ Rant

*Floyd Mayweather Jr. was caught on tape cursing out a security guard inside his Las Vegas community earlier this month — all because the guy didn’t recognize him.

TMZ has obtained footage of the incident, which took place Sunday Dec. 19 around 4 a.m. — when Floyd drove up to the main gate and the security guard asked him for ID.

That’s when the boxer started screaming, “Let me in my mother f**king house!!! You know who I am man … let me in my house!!!”

Mayweather continues, “Stop giving me a hard time … you don’t give Maloof a hard time … you don’t ask him for ID when he comes.”

During his tantrum — Floyd also references a prior incident with security in which the boxer was accused of battering one of the guards during a parking dispute … saying, “I had a problem here before when the security lied and said I touched him and I didn’t!”

Floyd eventually got out of the car, went into the guard shack and opened the gate himself.

The tape has been turned over to police and the footage may be used in the battery case to show Floyd has a dubious history with guards.

  1. There it is folk, the beginning of the end for another black pro athlete. All he was doing was showing off in front of his fucking friends. Now he spent 3 minutes airing-out a man who was only doing his job when it would’ve taken him 10 seconds to let the man see his ID! I mean the dumb nigga should’ve been happy to see that the man was doing his job. I mean what would he like to see, security just watching tv letting anybody go thru the gate?? He should be ashamed of himself & I hope he gets major negative reaction from the public & the people that live in that neighborhood!!

  2. You know, I’m inclined to believe that Floyd wouldn’t be acting out like that if he thought he was being treated fairly. They had to know that he was a resident, so why did they choose to give him a hard time? It’s a gated community. Shouldn’t security be courteous to the residents, instead of treating them like suspected criminals. You know who that man is, let him in. Yeah, we know about showing IDs, but make your clients feel welcomed and not alienated.

And as far as “The tape has been turned over to police and the footage may be used in the battery case to show Floyd has a dubious history with guards.”

I wouldn’t so sure about that. Some jurors may have a different take. This guard was more or less acting like a jerk, so why should they believe that other guard was telling the truth and wasn’t just trying to take Floyd to the cleaners.

Y’all got to realize that once you blk and have money, folks like TMZ will be out there along with them rent a cops, trying to discredit you at every turn.

    • How do we not know that this wasn’t a new security guy?? And even if it wasn’t I can guarantee you that the policy given to that security officer was to verify ALL people who want to enter by checking their ID!!

Contrary to popular, Mayweather, and others beliefs everybody doesn’t know nor cares who Floyd Mayweather is. He was just being a fucking jerk in front of his friends thats all. I know where I work everyone is required to wear their ID badges at all times while on the premises…IT’S POLICY!!

I would really love to see a copy of the policy for security at this community. I can almost guarantee you that this security guy was just following policy…a policy that I can guarantee you is in Mayweather’s HOA pkg if his ignorant ass would’ve read or had someone read it for him! If other security guards let him pass without checking his or anyone elses ID then thats up to that particular guard, but that guard is not following policy and risking his job and possibly folk property and/or lives by not doing so. If Mayweather felt slighted he should’ve taken it up with someone who has way more authority than this guy who was just doing his job, but unfortunately Mayweather and to many brothers like him think that taking the law into their own hands is the best remedy.

I fear that when Mayweather is no longer that important we’ll see him getting into all sorts of trouble because he’s too arrogant for his own good. Again, if he felt that the policy was only being enforced on him he should’ve taken it up with the HOA or whomever’s responsible for security there. He was totally out of line. Some of y’all act like there’s only 10 houses in this community and security should know every face that comes by. Please!! If Mayweather hates the policy so much, NIGGA MOVE or suggest that they install a gate that requires either a pin or a access card!!

For the record Mayweather is an easy target for discrediting considering that cameras don’t lie. This “rent-a-cop did nothing wrong and anyone with half a brain knows it. It took this fool 3 minutes to make America see again that he’s an asshole when he could’ve shown his ID and been on his way in 10 seconds! Not a smart dude at all!!

  3. I can see Floyd’s point if he’s always asked for ID. If you live in a gated community, at some point you expect security to know who are you; especially if you are a high profile celebrity. Although in this high tech age, I would think that residents would have a code or device to automatically open the gate without replying on the security guard.

    • I see your point, but I have to disagree. This guard may have been new or simply doesn’t know who the hell Floyd Mayweather is because he doesn’t follow boxing. Either way if that guards instructions are to check everyone’s ID then thats what he was suppose to do. If Mayweather has seen this particular guard allow folk to enter without checking their ID then 1, why didn’t he say it and 2, why didn’t he simply show his ID and file a complaint with whomever’s in-charge of security??
