*Tuesday night the Cleveland Cavaliers suffered one of the worst and most embarrassing losses in the team’s (and the NBA’s) history by losing to the Los Angeles Lakers 112-57.

Apparently it was just what LeBron James needed as fodder to get back at the Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert via Twitter:

“Crazy. Karma is a b—-. Gets you every time. Its not good to wish bad on anybody. God sees everything!”

Of course James’ tweet left no doubt that he was referring to Gilbert’s scathing letter last July to Cleveland fans questioning the two-time MVP’s character and predicting he would take Cleveland’s curse with him: “down south. … James will unfortunately own this dreaded spell and bad karma.” Well, we now know how that turned out.

The 55 point loss to the Lakers was the Cavs’ 11th straight and their most lopsided since joining the league in 1970.

After the game Cavaliers guard Mo Williams tweeted: “embarrassing, I feel like I can’t even show my face in Cleve.”

Tonight, Lebron and the Heat take on Blake Griffin and the LA Clippers at Staples Center.
