*Lil Wayne had a lot of time to read during his recent prison stint – even scrolling through the Bible for the first time in his life, he told Rolling Stone magazine.

“It was deep! I liked the parts where some character was once this, but he ended up being that. Like he’d be dissing Jesus, and then he ends up being a saint. That was cool,” said Weezy.

The rapper spent eight months at Rikers Island serving out a sentence on weapons possession charges dating back to 2007.

In addition to God’s word, Wayne said he also read a number of celebrity biographies, including books about Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison and Marvin Gaye.

Wayne also tells Rolling Stone he’s upset with LeBron James and Dwyane Wade because they wouldn’t speak with him when he was sitting courtside for Miami’s home game against New Orleans last month.

The cleaned-up version of his quotes is: “They don’t chuck me the deuce or nothing . . . At least come ask me why I’m not rooting for you.”
