*R. Kelly’s latest is one of those feel good albums that make you wanna dance. But while the musical genius has been in the studio, working on his 11th studio album, he has had a change of heart … about the album’s title.
Originally titled, “Zodiac,” the artist has decided to go with “12 Play” a sequel to his ’93 solo debut. So get ready for some freaky, good music.
“I’ve changed the name to ‘The Return of 12 Play: Night of the Living Dead,’ he tells Interview magazine. “I think it’ll be an R&B-like thriller album, if you will.”
If you don’t remember his first record, how could you forget, “12 Play” gave the singer his first number-one hit, “Bump N’ Gind.” That fantastic collection of lovemaking songs has sold over 6 million copies to date.
He also released three other albums under the “12 Play” title. Now it’s time for number four.
