*As previously reported, the Queen of Soul is back to work now. Since her health scare, she’s made very few public appearances lately. So she’s ready to get out there and face the cameras again.

The pioneer of soul music will appear on the “Wendy Williams Show” for an exclusive interview, where she will talk about her surgery and health.

“The legendary Aretha Franklin has invited me to do an exclusive, in-person intimate conversation with her in Detroit, that’s where she lives,” Williams said on the “The Wendy Williams Show” Monday. “So I’m packing my bags and we’ll bring the camera crew and everything, and, so far, Aretha has two activities she wants us to do. First thing is she wants us to go to the gym and the second thing is she wants us to have high tea together … I’m going to share that interview with you guys next week.”

Also coming up, as reported earlier, Franklin will perform live for the first time at the Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel in Buffalo, NY on May 28.

I hope that Wendy can handle this interview. In the words of RuPaul, “and don’t Fuck it up!”

Curious to why ReRe chose Wendy to be her first “major” interview after her recent surgery/health crisis…oh well…should be interesting and I’ll be watching.

I was thinking the same thing, but figured she wanted in on Wendy’s younger audience since I hear Oprah caters to older married white housewives.
