*The world is anxiously awaiting the return of Aretha Franklin since she announced that her health issues are under control. She recently dismissed reports she has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer

Online reports say the Queen of Soul is set to return to the stage in May for a still-to-be announced tribute show.

She says her comeback show will be a “network special with a lot of artists coming in to do a tribute for me.” Beyond that event, her first scheduled dates will be a three-night stand from June 3-5 at the Fox Theater in Detroit.

Franklin is still refusing to discuss the specifics of her recent health problems. Meanwhile, as we reported, Christina Aguilera and Jennifer Hudson will be among the stars paying tribute to her at the Grammy Awards this Sunday, February 13.
