*Since the death of funny man Bernie Mac, the world of entertainment and black comedy has been wondering who will now take the reigns of laughter.

The Mac Man was also one of the Kings of Comedy, which is said to be reuniting and getting back on the road.

Well, if a report by Black Voices’ Jawn Murray is accurate, it looks like the newest King of Comedy might be Kevin Hart and he would join the lineup with Steve Harvey, Cedric the Entertainer and D.L. Hughley.

Murray wrote:

A rep for Hart, 31, confirmed that discussions were underway with ‘The Original Kings of Comedy’ but would not elaborate on the matter.

However, Lathan Entertainment, which produces the tour, said they “know nothing about” Hart joining the show.

Hart has made a name for himself with stand up comedy and his star moment on “Soul Plane. He is also known for his successful Comedy Central special “Seriously Funny.”

He is also the first comedian to land a deal with the Brand Jordan and is featured on commercials for AIR Jordan.
