*The AllState Gospel Superfest Lifetime Achievement Award winner for 2011 is Gospel music veterans Vicki & Claude Lataillade.

On February 4th, the two responsible for grooming Kirk Franklin, Trin-i-tee 5:7 and plenty others, the Lataillades have been credited for pioneering contemporary Gospel music.

“Vicki and Claude have truly shaped modern gospel music like no other husband and wife team that I know,” says Gospel Superfest Show executive producer and founder Bobby Cartwright, Jr. “They were also very instrumental in our show’s development by blessing us with many artists in our early years.  We are very proud to salute them this year, as our first industry executive-honorees.”

The star studded awards show was hosted by “The Game’s” Wendy Raquel Robinson and included performances by David and Tamela Mann, Dorinda Clark Cole, Hezekiah Walker, and so many more.
