*Former member of girl group, 3LW, Naturi Naughton, is turning out to be quite the actress. We hear her latest triumph is landing a part in the new NBC pilot “Playboy.”
According to Variety, in her role as Brenda, she has aspirations to become the first African-American Playboy centerfold and will room with Maureen, played by Amber Heard, in the bunny dorm.
The 1-hour long drama, set in the 1960s at the Playboy clubs and being produced by Twentieth Century Fox TV and Imagine TV, will debut in the 2011-2012 season.
Naughton has also appeared in “Notorious,” “Lottery Ticket” and “Fame.”

Hmmm! I caught a episode of Mad Men last season where Naturi played a Playboy bunny. I know acting jobs are slim especially for our people BUT!! I hope Naturi does not resign herself to playing these type of roles and step her acting aspirations up. Good luck to her and the show.
