*If you thought Mary Harvey was through speaking out on her sharp differences with ex-husband Steve Harvey, think again.
This past Thursday she was given the opportunity say what was on her mind in light of Mr. Harvey’s recent court victory against her and some comments he made on “The View” about the situation as well.
Among the things she explains to Majic 102.3 Washington D.C.’s Cortney Hicks is how she can claim to be homeless when the recent court ruling states that she was awarded three homes in the divorce. Mary doesn’t deny that she had possession of all three houses at one point, but she lost them all, one way or another.
“Anything can be put into a document to say, ‘This is what she got,’” Mary said, “but did she get it?”

I think Steve may have to avoid the talk show scene for a while, knowing that he can’t answer those questions after talking all that shit.

Anyhoo, I am still a Mary supporter and it’s interesting how she got nothing from the sale of the $5 million house because the mortgage hadn’t been paid off. Steve leaves that part out of all the explanations.
By the way, I LOVED how Barbara Walters clowned Steve on the View: “I don’t know if you’re the best person to write these relationship books, but you keep writing them.” ha ha ha.
Overall, Harvey’s appearance was a black eye for the View. I expected much better from Whoppi and Joy, in particular. I don’t think Sherri was there. They all let Steve completely off the hook. When you couple that with Whoopi getting it all wrong, going off at the NY Times, when their article was in fact correct, you get a picture of a bunch of broads sitting down to discuss topics which they don’t know a damn thing about.
Considering all that was out there on the Steve/Mary controversy, you mean no one had enough info to play devil’s advocate. They were all sitting there brown nosing with Steve. The hosts of a good show should do some research on a pending guest so that they can at least ask some half decent questions.
Yeah, I was pretty pissed off. Whoopi and Joy are in the business; I know they’ve seen and heard stuff about him. Even Elizabeth was consoling him and saying what Mary did was terrible.

OK. I know you are not talking about that bogus Rickey Smiley interview. Ray Charles could see that was a setup. All the questions and answers were one sided. What I found amazing was that of all the questions Smiley asked her, they all painted Mary in a negative light. You mean to tell me you going to be someone’s “assistant” for so long, and you can’t find anything positive to say about them?
So why did she work for her that long?

It’s interesting that EUR runs stories on Mary’s perspective, but when Steve Harvey produced the documents that showed tha Mary clearly lied or completely twisted the public’s perception of what actually happened, EUR did not run that story when it was present all over the internet. Folks, there are three sides to every story…hers, his, and the real truth…but bottom line, Mary lied to us initially and now she is backpeddling because she will be in serious legal trouble if she keeps talking. Hence…”final” interview. Yes, Steve was a dog, dog, dog, but if anyone read his books, he aknowledged that in both of them. Ponder this, if the money did not dry up and Mary was allowed to live the former lavish lifestyle she had with Steve, would we be hearing from her now. People, don’t rush to judgement by basing everything on one person’s account (Mary’s). Keep a BIG open mind.

And as far as lying and twisting stuff, it seems that Mary has as much a case to be make as Steve. If you took the time to listen to the audio, you would hear her making the argument that the way Steve presented the contents of the documents was misleading. She admitted to getting the three houses, but what happened next? In the case of the $5 million mansion, she claims that Steve went back to the judge when he realized that he had to pay the mortgage and got it sold, with none of the proceeds going to her. Another house was sold, and the assistant is living in the other.
She also talked about the 1.5 million he is bragging she was awarded. She claims that’s what she was paid for her portion of the “ranch” when he bought it from her.
I don’t know if any of this is true, but I would like to hear Steve’s response. Who is twisting the public’s perception?
