*Los Angeles, CA – Fashion mavens and stylists seeking to capture accolades on the red carpets of the Grammy’s or BET Awards, have discovered a hidden gem with Cyndarella Coutoure.
Hitting the runways of top fashion events in 2009, the design house subsequently captured the fancy of superstars such as Prince, who opened his 201l, “Welcome 2 America” tour at Madison Square Garden, wearing an ensemble by Cyndarella founder, Chan Gaines. Prince also performed in a second exclusive creation by the designer later in his set.
106 & Park Hostess, Rocsi Diaz was stunning in a Cyndarella Coutoure creation as she worked the red carpet of the 2009 BET Awards’ Michael Jackson tribute event and MTV network’s Logo Channel reality show, “Noah’s Ark”, recruited Cyndarella to handle the costuming for its first season.
Cyndarella Coutoure has joined the ranks of top designers, whose sizzling creations bring red carpets and stages to life, blessing the bodies of elite personalities. Prince, Toni Braxton and Lil Kim have been canvasses for fresh new looks and unique twists created just for them by “The House of Cyndarella”. Stunning designs from the newcomer have recently been featured on celebrity bodies in some of the world’s top lifestyle magazines such as FHM, Black Men’s Magazine, VIBE and the cover of Heart & Soul, not to mention having graced the red carpets of the Grammy’s, BET Awards and other exclusive Hollywood fashion-centric events. Not only a fashion house, Cyndarella Coutoure is in demand for costume design for stage productions like “The Fellas” and as a style creator for fashion layouts, video productions and photo shoots. Cyndarella Coutoure runway events also attract and feature celebrity models like Jael from “America’s Top Model”.
Cyndarella Coutoure’s founder Chan Gaines, is no newcomer to the entertainment world, this industry insider first appeared on the scene as a part of rapper Snoop Dogg’s female group, “Doggy’s Angels”, which rose to the top of Billboard charts with their very first release “Baby if You’re Ready”, from their Pleezbaleevit! Album, on TVT Records in 2000. Celebrity status in the music world only fueled her creative passion and the desire to bring more to the table than just her vocal presence. Chan decided to leave an undeniable imprint on the entertainment industry by creating fashion statements that wowed, mesmerized and enhanced the aura of the event at which her creations appeared.
In 2005, Chan left Los Angeles and performance life, heading to Atlanta with the goal of reinventing herself. During the stay in her family’s home, she stumbled upon an old sewing machine that was in the attic, which just so happened to be her sleeping quarters. After testing the machine out, it only took three months for Chan to become addicted to the art of sewing. Once she got the hang of it, through countless hours of trial and error, she began to design any and everything that her mind could envision.
Through confidence, creativity and connections, Chan’s new found gift for fashion flair directed her back to L.A. where she gave birth to her dream company, Cyndarella Coutoure. With a new design firm, bright future and clear views for creation, Chan hit every red carpet, premiere party and entertainment event to network and further her career as a designer to the stars. It didn’t take long for the hustle to pay off, as her handmade hotness set off a buzz in the industry making celebrities, showbiz insiders and even the girl next door begin to inquire about Cyndarella Coutoure. Through word of mouth, news began to spread about the new designer and stylist and the opportunities to exhibit her work’s sophistication and attention to detail came pouring in.
Now, the red carpets, fashion shows, photo shoots and music videos no longer just serve as a networking platform, they are the stages from which Chan’s art is displayed by some of today’s biggest stars!
