*TMZ paps caught up with Eric Benet at the Burbank airport yesterday and asked him to confirm rumors that his friends once had a “scary” nickname for his ex-wife Halle Berry — based on a side of her personality most people don’t get to see.
Asked if it was true that his friends once called her “Halle Scary,” he chuckled and said, “Aw man, you’re going deep. You’re going back into ancient history.”
Benet, married to Halle from 2001-2005, neither confirmed nor denied the rumor.
When asked what he thought in general about Halle’s custody drama with Gabriel Aubry over their 3-year-old daughter Nahla, Benet said he hasn’t spoken to the actress “in years,” and that he has “best wishes for the little girl. She’s the priority.”

Halle Scary??? too funny! Halle must be a piece of work to deal with.
He responded well. No need for him to be drawn back into Halle’s drama.
I wonder will he ever live down being the ex-husband of Halle…perhaps after he gets married this summer…I doubt it though.
Yo…FK Steve Harvey’s ish..HALLE’S shyt is reeeeally “coming out” now! I BEEN sayin chick ain’t EEEEEVIN “wrapped too tight”, & now it’s “out” lika damn…”gay pride mascot”! The truth will ALWAYS find a way, won’t it!? I hope homegirl gets the MAJOR help she needs, before that lil girl gets old enough to be influenced BY her!
This reminds me of how when people meet my mother they think that she is this sweet older Lady who they can run over. A few of her coworkers played a prank on a supervisor which lead to a trip to the hospital for the manager.
When it came to covering their hides they just knew they could count on sweet “Miss Lady” to back them up and say they were elsewhere. Instead “Miss Lady” put them all on blast for trying to involve her in their scheme especially since she had no idea they were even thinking about pulling the prank–which she would have put a stop to.
While everyone was aflutter about the resulting firings/suspensions related to the incident the biggest buzz was about “Miss Lady’s” transformation from ‘sweet’ to ‘scary’ and ‘mean’. They referred to her as the ‘silent assassin’ because she didn’t yell but caused a lot of damage. They made jokes about not wanting to cross her and getting her to tell off their landlords and bill collectors.
She didn’t think it was funny–those people were willing to put her job and pension in jeopardy simply because they thought she would rollover and let them do it. As soon as she acted out of character she was treated differently–she felt very defensive for a long time. She protected herself and in doing so shattered how everyone thought of her and how she should be which resulted in snickering and snide remarks.
Lesson learned: when a woman puts her own self interest first she should be prepared for questions about her character and/or mental stability. There is nothing “scarier” or “crazier” than a woman who wants what she knows is truly best for her rather than what everyone else thinks is best for her.
There?…is?…a?….BIG difference between “self interest” & being..”selfish”! The latter?, is a reflection of “damn everyone else”!, “I” want WTF I want & MUST have at the expense of others! The 1st? can be achieved WITHOUT fkn over everyone else, ok?, kapeeesh!? Cool!
Oh and BTW?..Halle is the…”latter”, all & EVERYday!
