I’m getting kinda tired of this urban, Amos ‘n’ Andy-esque entertainment genre. It’s like an old joke being told over and over again. After while, it gets to be boring.

I’ve never seen a Tyler play/movie/tv show. NOT ONE. By the looks of this trailer the streak shall continue.
After reading several articles today I would liek to say this. I like Tyler Perry’s movies now some of the plays I don’t too much care for they do seem to have he same basis and the tickets are just too high so I won’t go to see them. However,I think that sometime we just take ourselves too seriously. Sometimes I just want to laugh at something that is so funny that I laugh until I cry and sometime I want to see Black movies that are excellent like Colored Girls I enjoyed that movie. Some time I want my mind expanded I want to see serious Black film like Malcolm X I want to know my history and I watch movies that stimulate my mind but sometime I just want to laugh. I know that Tylers movies are not ging to win any awards but i think that we need a mixture and that there is room for all sort of Black talent.Movies about our history are serious and very important but I think we must admit hat we can also laugh at ourselves and still be proud of the work we have done at the end of the day. I just want to see al kinds of Black film as long as it is well made and our Black actors are working
Too bad, black people refuse to start their own Hollywood movement.( Roots, we forget ) Even India has it’s own production company as a culture of people. Jews run Hollywood, the perfect example: Charlie Sheen is Jewish, he calls his Jewish boss by his birth name and is labeled anti-semtic. How can that be? * Remember Esau sold his birthright for the world, Jacob was aware, and found grace. Notice how drugs and alcohol bring out the truth, from consumption. tyler perrys movies are great..stop beaten our black producers down..giv the man time he will make all kinds of movies soon..unless u haters keep hatin..soon well have once again no black movies..damm enough already let people do what they do with positive support and keep your negative attitudes to your broke selves who couldnt do any better..
