*It came as a pleasant surprise for fans when they listened in on the eight-minute comedic tirade by funny man Chris Rock on Kanye West’s 2010 “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.”

He told the NY Times he had to jump on the opportunity.

“I did that quicker than I read scripts that they offer me money to do,” he said. “I thank [Kanye] so much it probably freaks him out. Especially at this late date, to get on something, the album of the moment, that stuff is priceless. You can’t put a price tag on that. […] I felt invigorated by it. I’ve still got my fastball.”

It wasn’t the first time he shared his comedic relief on a few other rap albums in the past, including Ol’ Dirty Bastard’s track “Recognise.”

He’s getting ready to debut on Broadway in stage play, “The Motherf—er with the Hat.”
