*The audience and judges may have given Chris Brown a standing ovation after his performances on “Dancing With the Stars,” but things weren’t quite as warm and fuzzy for the singer backstage.
Not only was he snubbed by domestic abuse victim, Cheryl Burke, who said earlier Monday that she didn’t agree with him coming on the show, but Kirstie Alley and Wendy Williams also gave him the cold shoulder backstage, according to Popeater.com’s Rob Shuster.
“Usually when a big star comes in to sing, the entire cast is excited to meet them and spend the day together at rehearsals,” a “Dancing” insider told Schuster. “With Chris, no one wanted to be around when he rehearsed.”
Schuster continues:
In particular, my source observed that “Kirstie wanted to spend as little time as possible around him. It was hard enough for her to be in the same building as him.”
To viewers at home, Chris’ performance went off without a hitch. Accompanied by a crew of backup dancers, Chris avoided getting booed and sang “Yeah 3X” and a melody of his hits “Forever” and “Beautiful.”
But while everything went smoothly on stage, the same can’t be said behind it.
“No one wanted anything to do with him,” a “Dancing” insider tells me. “Most of the cast think it’s disgraceful that ABC invited him on in the first place, but after he smashed a window backstage at ‘Good Morning America,’ almost everyone participating in the competition thought he should have been canceled.”

Kirstie needs to snub all the weight she has gained back, Wendy needs to snub those ugly azz wigs and azz whippings. I am sure it really hurt Chris’s feelings. IMO, the whole GMA thing could have been for publicity for his new CD, it was awfully convenient time. Again, JMO
This is all connected to the photograph of Rihanna’s battered face.
Chris will just have to deal with being snubbed by some people because there are some who will probably never forgive him for DV and the GMA incidents. time will tell. anyway, on a lighter note. Wendy should be the next to be voted off she is so darn stiff it is pathetic her partner Tony seems real nice and patient with her though.
OH SHAT UP! who cares if these has beens dont want to kick it with him backstage. not tryna be funny but NO ONE CARES if you didnt say hi to him. He did that thang and thats all that matters.
Someone said that once everyone saw the photos of a battered Rihanna, that was it for Chris; just like once the battered photos were revealed of Nicole Simpson, public opinion was over for O.J……..
I am an older woman and I would never condone what Chris did to Rhianna or what he did on GMA but enough is enough leave him the f— alone he was basically a kid when then happened he he still has a long way to go and I would advise all the haters out there to put there energy somewhere else besides harping on Chris Brown. I’ll bet not one person who is dwelling on this has donated their time to a Domestic violence program plus I haven’t heard anything about Charlie Sheens or Mel Gibsons antics which have gone on more recent than Chris’s I guess its because they are white. Give it a rest people and move on just pray that he gets the counseling that he needs.
I’m not one to cry out racism for every wrong doing done to black people but this, in my opinion, is flat out racism.
Really?
So Robin Roberts and Wendy Williams are racist?!
And how about the white suits at ABC who are bending over backwards to have him back?
And who was it that Chris Brown committed the DV against?
Was it not a black woman?
These women are simply opposed to rewarding someone for domestic violence and continued violent behavior. They have values beyond the green. It’s not a black and white issue.
He best be thankful he didn’t do this to a Becky or his career would be over right now.
It’s kind of interesting all these negative comments towards these women for voicing or displaying their opinion of Chris Brown. Considering that he is the one that is guilty of domestic violence, in it’s most extreme form, I may add. And to add insult to injury, his actions seems to dare anyone to bring up or hint at the topic.
It seem to me that if Chris Brown has the right to get angry, break glasses, tore his shirt off for being asked about his crimes, then these women should have every right to give their opinion on him for as long as they want to, without being called these ugly names. They weren’t the ones who put Chris Brown in whatever situation he finds himself in, That was his own doing, and one which will linger even longer as a result of his continued behavior.
Now I can see how Robin Roberts end up receiving threats after her very professional interview with Chris Brown.
I think Wendy Williams has a lot of damn nerve. You all must not remember when she was still doing her talking thing here in
NYC on “WBLS”.I believe it was either her
assistant or publicist,but Wendys husband
Kevin was pushing up on this young lady and she could not take it anymore.WBLS did
nothing when she complained,so she filed a law suit. But what makes it even better is that the young lady started telling how
Kevin would come up in the studios and take Wendy by the throat and throw her up
againt the walls of WBLS.When all of this came out,Kevin was banned from entering the offices of WBLS.By then things were changing and Wendy was doing the tv show.
I’m saying all this to say that Wendy got her azz beat numerous times by her husband and she is indeed still with him.AND he’s the one who is controlling her and the money.WBLS had to settle with the young lady because all of the DV was documented. While I don’t agree with Chris Browns behaviour on “GMA”,I understand his fustration.Everyone needs to just let it go.I support Chris Brown and have purchased his new cd(love it).Oh by the way, since it’s over I can say that I saw
the pictures of Chris after the fight and
she did a small number on him as well. But
to hear him describe how she was slapping and punching him in the face as he drove is gutrenching. And as far as Kirstie Alley and I really like her,she should look in the mirror. There is a reason she’s alone too! Peace and Blessings!
