Farrakhan to Obama (Video): ‘Who the Hell Do You Think You Are?’

NOI leader blasts Obama for calling for Qaddafi to step down

*In a radio interview interview on Monday, Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan had some strong words for President Obama regarding his call for Moammar Qaddafi to step down as leader of Libya.

“I warn my brother do you let these wicked demons move you in a direction that will absolutely ruin your future with your people in Africa and throughout the Arab world…Why don’t you organize a group of respected Americans and ask for a meeting with Qaddafi, you can’t order him to step down and get out, who the hell do you think you are?”

EUR is wrong again,I saw this same exact video SUNDAY,so no way he said this Monday. However like Jack Black Music stated, Farrakhan is correct in his points,I guess when we as Americans dont know our history,it is easy for our government to REPEAT it’s dirty deeds, now it’s just a Black face doing it.For a lot of people this move by our president is not well received,on so many levels. He not going through the proper channels, also what interest do we have in Libya( we want that oil),and why are supposedly trying to save the Libyans and not others going through the exact same thing and really who is OBAMA to say someone must go,is he going to openly back this man’s murder, will we soon have another Kennedy chickens coming home… moment in our time? The American press has made Khadfy into a bogeyman, however he has helped alot of African countries including South Africa gain their independence. In closing I think that history will tell us these quote uprisings in these other countries will show us once again the CIA has some involvement in them or am I the only one to wonder about the convenience of all of them happening at once, notice how we know longer hear about EGYPT anymore, what’s going on there now with Mubarek gone. And like Farrakhan said Obama’s words about replacing a country’s leader will soon be action Obama will seeing when it comes to him. This is really none of this country’s business and he doesnt even know who thsse Libyan rebels or terroists are,and who is backing them.Reds point about Obama alleged backroom sheanigans in Haiti also need to be examined.I hope that we havent been fooled by this man.

  7. I still don’t have any problem with Obama going after Gaddafi, but some are saying his method is in violation of the constitution and some even consider it an impeachable offense.

    Dennis Kucinich:
Obama is 100% wrong on this and the constitution is very clear. The Barack Obama of 2007, the constitutional scholar, the senator, the would be presidential candidate of 2007, understood that. But somehow, the Barack Obama of 2011 doesn’t understand the constitution anymore.

So what did candidate Obama say then?

    Candidate Obama:
The President does not have power under the Constitution to unilaterally authorize a military attack in a situation that does not involve stopping an actual or imminent threat to the nation.

    Kucinich:
“President Obama moved forward without Congress approving. He didn’t have Congressional authorization, he has gone against the Constitution, and that’s got to be said. It’s not even disputable, this isn’t even a close question. Such an action — that involves putting America’s service men and women into harm’s way, whether they’re in the Air Force or the Navy — is a grave decision that cannot be made by the president alone.”

According to Kucinich, Obama’s decision “would appear on its face to be an impeachable offense,” though he questioned whether Congress would ever move forward with a trial in practice.

So in Obama’s rush to flex his muscles to Republicans, he may have lost his constitutional bearings.
But someone needs to remind Obama that because he is not Bush, he has to tread carefully. The Republican and Democrats were willing to let Bush get away with murder. Back then, only Dennis Kucinich and Rus Finegold would be making any noise and not even the Democrats would pay them any attention. But Obama needs to remember that he is a black man, with a target on his back, and the very Republicans which he is so willing to appease will use this to screw him, to impeach him.

As far as criticism coming from Farrakhan, I got to feel that Obama is not sweating it, since in his opinion, it will only increase his status amongst white people.

So Obama needs to get his act together, make sure that all his t’s are crossed and i’s dotted, because there are a lot of dictators out there. And I want to see all of them dead.

  8. jbfromptown says:

Obammy and Ferry Khan need to shut up!

  9. brooklynbabe says:

Okay, I want to know why everyone has their panties in a bunch. The U.S. did not declare war on Lybia. The U.S. is not fighting a war against Lybia.

The U.N. Security Counsel declared a no-fly zone over Lybia due to the imminent danger that Qaddafi’s military forces posed to the civilian population of Lybia. The U.S. is a part of the U.N. Security Counsel or forces that support the U.N. Security Counsel along with France, Britan, etc. They all provide troops in support of the U.N. Security Counsel directives and that coalition is carrying out those directives by making sure there is a no-fly zone over Lybia.

I am not sure but, I do not believe that the President needs the approval of Congress in regards to this because the U.S., the country itself, has not declared war on Lybia. No one has declared war on Lybia. Everyone that’s a part of the U.N. Security Counsel is just trying to make sure that Qaddafi cannot run roughshod over the civilian population of Lybia that clearly no longer wants his rule.

It has really been pissing me off to hear our media say, “U.S. and coalition forces”, like they are two separate beings and in this instance, it is just to COALITION.

I’ll say it again louder for the hard of hearing, “THE U.S. DID NOT DECLARE WAR ON LYBIA!”

  10. Personally, I would prefer if we were not involved, but at the very least be honest about the reason: to protect American economic interests. It’s an insult to my intelligence to act as if, as a government, we care what Qaddafi is doing to his own people while ignoring other dictators around the world who are doing far worse. On the other hand, we need to realize that there may be consequences whether the US is involved or not; this applies to most conflicts in the Mid East. It’s easy to say that the US should not be involved in any of the Mid East mess, but what if our non-involvement leads to more regional instablility. Just how much are we willing to pay for a gallon of gas? Most Americans don’t want us involved, but we also don’t want to give up our SUVS and large cars. BTW, anyone who have traveled outside the US knows that we are about the only ones obsessed with car size. On the other hand, if we get involved it means that one side or the other will hate us leading to more terrorism. So you see, The issue isn’t just about the US government and the big oil companies; it’s also about the type of lifestyle that we want.

    • Grace12_34 says:

IMO, Obama is just doing massa’s work.

I co-sign with what you’re saying about the price of gas. It saddened me to hear my 18-year-old daughter, someone who once refused to recite the pledge of allegiance in middle school and high school until the U.S. armed forces leave Iraq, now say that she doesn’t give a damn who has to be killed, as long as the gas prices start falling. I could not believe my ears.

      • Its more complex than just doing massa’s work. Americans tend to want what we want, how we want it and when we want it, but we don’t really want to know what corporations and the governement are doing to deliver the things we want.

  11. jbfromptown says:

WE WANT TO CONTROL OIL PERIOD!!! WE COULD CARE LESS ABOUT QADDAFI!

  12. First, I agree with Brother Minister 100%. Do we seriously think the US government is going to be honest and up front with us tax payers? Hell no. I thought long and hard about what MF is saying and its true, the U.S. wants to get that oil and like he said, if they think they can squash Libya, they’ll have another thing coming. Next, why does the U.S. even have to be involved in Libya’s affairs? We have way too many issues to deal with here…Africa is a country that is extremely rich in resources and everybody has a motive to tap into those resources and take was it not rightfully their’s. It just seems like they raised gas prices to over $4 a gallon, blame it on Libya to have an excuse to invade and steal that Country’s resources case and point, they said Sadaam had a hand in 9/11 and used that as an excuse to invade, kill him and his family and then afterwards, oops, well he didn’t really, he just had a few buddies that were in Al Qaida. Miss me with that BS

  13. Amazing to see Farrakhan supporting a dictator and bragging about African nations supporting him is akin to bank robbers supporting other bank robbers. Everybody knows how corrupt leadership is in most African nations is. I hate it when black folk support black folk because they are black, but this is a case of a Muslim wanting to support another Muslim simply because they share the same faith. Notice how he had negative at all to say about Gaddafi even though it’s a known fact that he treats his own people like shit.

    • nylaconnect says:

AL B Almost all countries (rulers )threat their people like sheeet, some just do it nicer. And most of the people dont even know they are being treated like sheeet.Look at all the people in this country who voted Republican and against their own best interests, self inflicted yes but they still want to get the f upped treatment.
