*In the wake of her two-part confessional on “The Oprah Winfrey Show,” Iyanla Vanzant is back on the New York Times Best Sellers list with her latest book “Peace From Broken Pieces: How to Get Through What You’re Going Through.”

The TV personality enjoyed regular segments as a self-help guru on “Oprah” until a falling out ended her appearances 10 years ago.  In early February, she returned to the show for no-holds-barred interview that aired in two parts.

The pair finally got to the bottom of the miscommunication that precipitated their split, her subsequent plunge into debt and how she’s battling her way back. The journey is also chronicled in “Peace From Broken Pieces,” published via Tavis Smiley’s SmileyBooks imprint on Nov. 15, 2010. It currently sits at #1 on the Times’ Hardcover Advice & Misc. list.

“We are thrilled that Iyanla’s inspiring message has reached so many people,” says Smiley. “Her mission — to promote family healing — affirms why she remains one of the nation’s most beloved teachers.”

Per the publisher:

New York Times best-selling author Iyanla Vanzant recounts the last decade of her life and the spiritual lessons learned—from the price of success during her meteoric rise as a TV celebrity on Oprah, the Iyanla TV show (produced by Barbara Walters), to the dissolution of her marriage and her daughter’s 15 months of illness and death on Christmas day. Like a phoenix rising from the ashes, Iyanla shares why everything we need to learn is reflected in our relationships and the strength and wisdom she has gained by supporting others in their journeys to make sense out of the puzzle pieces of their lives.

This marks Vanzant’s fifth time on the New York Times’ Best Sellers list, and her first with SmileyBooks. She previously spent 20 weeks on the list with “In the Meantime.”
