*After four weeks of “Celebrity Apprentice” episodes in which Dionne Warwick appeared far from a shrinking violet, the singing legend shocked the boardroom — including Donald Trump himself – when she said she deserved to be fired.

Although she changed her mind at the last minute, The Donald promptly sent Warwick to the taxicab — but not after a drama-filled boardroom and post-boardroom exchange with “Real Housewives” star NeNe Leakes at the elevator.

NeNe was project manager of a task that included making an ad for a video phone from the ACN company. Although the women did a great job, the mens’ team, led by Lil Jon, won the night’s competition.

Warwick, who left early instead of sticking around to edit the ad (The singer said she was tired and had to “go lay down.”), felt she had been betrayed by Leakes to Trump during the boardroom discussion. Warwick accused the reality star of not telling the truth about the nature of her early exit. After other players also brought up Dionne’s divisive attitude, Warwick was too late in defending herself so Trump fired her.

At the elevator, Dionne hugged NeNe, then told her in passing, “You’re a coward, baby.” When NeNe asked why, Dionne reminded her that she asked the Bravo star if she could leave the task early, and didn’t just bounce as NeNe had made it seem in the boardroom.

In the post-elimination cab ride, Warwick said, “Sometimes ladies have a habit of not quite being straight up. I just don’t like craziness — unless I’m the crazy one!”
