*Fantasia Barrino was among the performance lineup for the 27th annual National Association of Black Owned Broadcasters awards dinner held Friday in Washington and wasted no time getting comfortable.

Photos of the performance show ‘Tasia’s bare feet on the carpet of the Omni Shoreham Hotel ballroom as she walked through the audience – which included event honorees Soledad O’Brien, blues legend Buddy Guy, gospel veteran Bobby Jones and Slinger “Mighty Sparrow” Francisco.
Regina Belle and Chrisette Michelle were also on the performance bill.

I hope she can manage to lose that weight. She’s probably been doing emotional eating.
This woman is has no class and no voice. She is an awful singer and its time people tell her to stop acting and looking like a complete fool.
Fantasia has class. However, she is young and will and has made mistakes. She’s human. She is not an awful singer, she is a talented vocalist, who when performing live, allows her raw passion to take over. I understand for some, it may be hard to take. Her live singing is often filled with a spirited gutteral scream but above all, you can’t deny that this woman has talent. She’s not the refine over done pop star like Whitney once was nor does she try to do what Beyonce does. She’s Fantasia and I love her originality, her spirit and all of her soul!

I am speechless.What in the world is this? I cannot believe all the tat’s that she has does she know her Bible about this? she claims to know it. Lord have mercy!!!!!!!
Fanatasia has raw talent, I will give her that BUT!!! those awful tats are an eyesore seriously!! Why she had to put them all over her feet and legs is beyond me. I do not get why alot of people tat their whole body up.
I agree with babycakes about the tats. I think they are awful. But talent wise Fantasia has what I consider an “old soul”. She has that raw talent of women like Aretha and Patti.
That is so ugly – I agree with you, lorraine315 – Fantasia sings like one of the female soul singers of yesteryear – which I like. Her latest album is probably her best one to date – as long as she continues to get good material to sing, she can go as far as she likes – inferior material like the one she did about “a hood boy” something like that – that c.d. was terrible. Fantasia sings much better when she has better adult themed songs to sing – she has the voice to go as far as she would like to, in my opinion.
