*In an announcement that should surprise absolutely no one, Warner Bros., producers of the hit CBS comedy “Two and a Half Men,” has fired Charlie Sheen from the show.
In a statement the studio said, “After careful consideration, Warner Bros. Television has terminated Charlie Sheen’s services on “Two and a Half Men” effective immediately.”
The move comes after several weeks of public battles between Sheen, Warner Bros., CBS and Chuck Lorre, the show’s executive producer and co-creator.
And of course you just knew Charlie “Winning!” Sheen was gonna respond. Here’s what he told TMZ in a statement:
“This is very good news. They continue to be in breach, like so many whales. It is a big day of gladness at the Sober Valley Lodge because now I can take all of the bazillions, never have to look at whatshiscock again and I never have to put on those silly shirts for as long as this warlock exists in the terrestrial dimension.”
We won’t bet against him, but it looks like in this round, Charlie is Losing!
But that’s this round. moving foeward, expect huge lawsuits from Charlie and his lawyer, Marty Singer, against Warner Bros and “Two and a Half Men” producer Chuck Lorre.
