Beyonce on the set of the music video for "Girls (Who Run the World)"

*It was only a matter of time before Beyonce’s upcoming single “Girls (Who Run the World),” a split second of which leaked last week, hit the web in its entirety.

Produced by Diplo and Switch, the track samples heavily from Major Lazer’s ‘Pon De Floor’ and finds Bey singing the praises of ladies who are “smart enough to make these millions, strong enough to bare the children, then get back to business.”

Late last month, Diplo told PopEater that working with Beyonce was a surreal experience. He said, “During this last year, every day has been another weird thing happening like, ‘What’s going on?'”

Last week, photos from the song’s Francis Lawrence-directed video for “Girls” also leaked online.

“It is a fantastic song, so I really hope that song catches for her,” Lawrence told MTV, “and I think the video’s gonna be really fun and cool and different for her.”
