*Today, a 6-second snippet of what’s rumored to be the first single off Beyoncé’s upcoming fourth album found its way to the web, via the blog SomeKindofAwesome.
The official title has yet to be announced but it’s rumored to be either “Girl” or “Girls (Who Run the World),” according to Billboard.
The track samples Major Lazer’s “Pon de Floor.” Diplo, one-half of the dancehall duo, has reportedly been in the studio with Beyoncé working on the new set.
It was reported this week that Bey flew 200 African dancers into Los Angeles for the “Girl” shoot, and is working with eight different choreographers on the Francis Lawrence-directed video. She was also spotted this week on the set in California’s Mojave Dessert. Leaked stills show the singer with a strong hold on a red flag and wearing a towering gold headpiece.
