*After years of acting and capturing the world’s attention on daytime television, Oprah Winfrey is ready to make her big Broadway debut.

On her show last Friday, she told her guest, Chris Rock that it is in fact her dream to perform on the stage, as he shared his new gig in current Broadway play “The M—–f—er With the Hat.”

Winfrey told Rock, “You know, it’s the one thing I want to do.”

“You have to do it,” he said.

“It’s the one thing I want to do,” Oprah said again.

The comedian also admitted that he was inspired by Denzel Washington’s role in the revival of “Fences” in which the actor was nominated for and won a Tony award for best actor.

“I really want to be involved in an ensemble.”
“And they gave me the script,” he continued, “and I read it and I was like, ‘Wow, I’ll do that one.'” He then repeated to Ms. Winfrey, “You have to do it.”

“It’s my dream,” Winfrey said.

Rock said, “I’m telling you, you will be a different person.”
