*Cirque du Soleil is holding a press conference in Las Vegas today to announce the details of its upcoming show dedicated to the King of Pop.

The “Michael Jackson, The Immortal World Tour” is scheduled to kick off in Montreal in October and hit 30 cities before stopping in December at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas.

According to Cirque du Soleil president Daniel Lamarre, the $57 million show will run 90 minutes and include excerpts from Jackson’s music videos, but no performer will represent Jackson specifically.

“Immortal” will also feature as-yet-unreleased songs that Jackson had finished before his death in 2009.

A separate permanent production is expected to open next year at Mandalay Bay.
