*As is his pattern, Donald Trump has fired back hard at Bill Cosby, who criticized the real estate mogul during an appearance on the “Today” show last week.
As previously reported, host Meredith Vieira asked Cosby about the seriousness of Trump’s flirtation with a presidential run, since the “Celebrity Apprentice” star had been a guest earlier in the program.
“He’s full of it,” declared Cosby at one point. He later said, “The only thing he’s running is his mouth.”
Well Trump has fired back by releasing a statement blistering Cosby as dishonest about his reasons for opposing a Trump candidacy, and suggesting the real reason Cosby disparaged him is because he supports President Obama.
“Sadly, he got more attention talking about me than he did on the merits of his own appearance – maybe he is not as dumb as I thought,” concludes Trump.

“The other day on The Today Show, right after I was interviewed by Meredith Vieira, a terrific person and reporter, I happened to watch Bill Cosby who was on at the end of the show. While I have never been a fan of Cosby’s, I had always assumed he liked or respected me because every time I met him—the last time at the David Letterman show where I preceded him as a guest—he was always so nice, saying, ‘let’s get together’ – asking me out to dinner, and being polite to the point of offering to buy me a suit because he has a ‘great tailor.’”
“In any event, as I watched the show, the subject of Donald Trump came up. I was surprised to hear him blabber, somewhat incoherently, ‘you run or shut up.’ The hatred was pouring out of his eyes when he said this.”
“As I am sure he must know I cannot run until this season of Celebrity Apprentice ends. I know that he has taken a lot of heat over the years in that he seems to be talking down to the people he’s talking to and purportedly trying to help. Actually, based on the way he acted, things are not looking too good for Cosby.”
“I wish he would be more honest, and if he doesn’t want me to run because he’s obviously an Obama fan, he should state the reasons and not come into my “green room” in front of numerous witnesses and treat me like his best friend, only to denigrate me when I’m not around. Sadly, he got more attention talking about me than he did on the merits of his own appearance—maybe he is not as dumb as I thought.”

Trump does not need to entertain the thought of running for the presidency if he cannot take any type of criticism. Cosby had every right to say what he thoughtand now Trump is slandering him and all but calling him a loser and practically senile at that. Maya Soetero-Ng, half-sister of President Obama, wants birthers to stop their crazy theories and focus on more important issues.

President Obama’s half-sister has a message for birthers: Get over it already!
Maya Soetoro-Ng, who shares a mother with the Commander-in-Chief, says the evidence is all there and people need to focus on more important issues.
“He was born in Hawaii,” she told Piers Morgan on his CNN show, which will air Tuesday night. “There is a tremendous amount of proof that has already been presented.”
Soetoro-Ng, who is doing the rounds to promote her new children’s book, “Ladder to the Moon,” pointed out that officials have verified his birth records.
In fact, the former director of Hawaii’s Department of Health, Dr. Chiyome Fukino, said again recently that the whole conspiracy theory around Obama’s birth has become “ludicrous at this point.”
“[His birth certificate] is real, and no amount of saying it is not, is going to change that,” Fukino told NBC News in a rare interview.
But she fears nothing at this point will stop the Internet theories from spreading.
“They’re going to question the ink on which it was written or say it was fabricated,” said Fukino. “The whole thing is silly.”
Soetoro-Ng just wants those who insist on believing the wild theories to move on.
“I think it is time for people to put that to bed,” she told Morgan. “Put it to rest completely, and focus on what they can do to help” this country.
Obama’s mother was an American citizen so that would automatically mean that Obama is one. What the hell is people like Trump babbling about? These folks are just trying to distract the public from real issues and the fact this country is corrupted by greedy CEO’s and tea party bigots who are trying to balance federal, state & local budgets on the working/middle/poor income class. FYI – The U.S. Constitution says a president must be a “natural born citizen” which means born on U.S. soil. That’s what Donald Trump is chomping about.
The crazy birthers believe Obama was born in Africa while visiting his father’s family. It doesn’t help that Obama’s African grandmother has said she watched the birth.
The birthers are some ignorant conspiracy theorists, but they do built their nutty arguments around this rationalization.
