*Statistics show Blacks at a disadvantage in most aspects of life. Needs and concerns of Blacks are strategically placed on political backburners behind illegal immigration and gay rights.
Racist strategies are relentless by legislators, businesses, educators, churches and the masses. Congress once labeled Black men, “an endangered species” but did nothing to help.
Strategies include school curriculums that create and accelerate Black dropouts, lengthy school expulsions, massive and extensive incarceration of Blacks and its lifetime implications, driving while Black/dwb, every generation having spiraling unemployment, substandard wages, inferior housing, homelessness/mortgage foreclosures, high rent, pay more interest on loans, medical apartheid, lack of national Black businesses, communications and virtually no consumer markets. Blacks are strategically engulfed in a silent racial war.
Ex-President Clinton said, “A lot of people might be tempted to believe that the struggle…for racial equality is over. …You must first recognize that this struggle is nowhere near over.”
Michelle Alexander author of, The New Jim Crow: Mass Incarceration in the Age of Colorblindness and currently holds a joint appointment at Kirwan Institute for the Study of Race and Ethnicity and the Moritz College of Law at Ohio State University said, “The drug war has been brutal-complete with SWAT teams, tanks, bazookas, grenade launchers, neighborhood sweeps” and charter sized buses some complete with holding cells. The drug war is waged almost exclusively in Black communities, “…even though studies consistently show that people of all colors use and sell illegal drugs at remarkably similar rates.”
Poverty and mass incarceration play huge roles. They purge society of Blacks. Crimes by angry, jobless Blacks allows incarceration-legal removal from society for brief periods or at length. On average Black men spend 20, years in prison. Many prisons are 80%-90% Black. Some men’s prisons hold 6,000 inmates.
Prisons generate income for many businesses, communities/residents through jobs, services and goods. Prisons and Fortune 500 companies use inmate labor to make hundreds of goods. Prison stocks are about $20 each-with millions sold and millions to be sold. The money prisons generate from or use to incarcerate Blacks has never been infused in any Black community.
Ex-felons are barred from at least 35, professions after incarceration. Ex-drug felons are banned from public housing, food stamps and education for life-while extending the same to illegal immigrants.
Whites have 24, hour national, international and cable television programming. Blacks pay too much for cable TV and get little. Twenty-five year old Black programming air multiple times daily-shows that used to air free. Unless Blacks insist on free national Black TV it will never happen. Complete Spanish programming is available via cable.
Most Black businesses are mirco-businesses-five or fewer employees; loans are $35k or less. The average Black business statistically earns $86,000. Goodwill Industries, (second hand/used goods stores) has sales of $2.16, billion. Sears/Kmart, Wal-Mart, Family Dollar, have over 3,000, stores.
Special education is a $60 billion dollar industry. Black males are 80% of special education students. Black boys especially are medicated experimentally and documented mentally disabled.
Too many Blacks are indebted, don’t own homes or transportation. They are often unable to bury themselves or loved ones. Whites have 20, times more wealth than Blacks.
Research indicates even with personal responsibility and higher education discrimination adversely affects Blacks. Blacks are discriminated against based on appearance, voice, name, etc.
Because he’s Black, President Obama’s had to have more security than other presidents.
Should he martyr himself promoting Black rights when many Blacks won’t graduate high school, universities or abstain from addictions and incarceration?
