*A name we haven’t heard too much of lately, West Coast rapper, Mack 10 has been hospitalized in Los Angeles due to a serious stomach issue.
The 39-year-old rapper was suffering from a stomach condition called diverticulitis, which causes inflammation in the intestinal wall.
“He went to the hospital with unbearable pain and was diagnosed,” a source revealed. “He’s still there, he’s just gonna take time to heal.”
In the meantime, the rapper is in the process of reviving his record label with new releases from Xzibit, Richie Rich, and his own lil somethin’ somethin’.
His company was originally founded in 1997 under Priority Records, but was re-launched under Fontana Distribution.
“I only stepped away from the label because I had a lot of other things going on in my personal life,” Mack told the BoomBox in March. “But I never cared about what the East Coast was doing or what the South was doing or what the West Coast was doing. I was just worried about what Hoo Bangin’ was doing. I got a formula that works and it’s been working for over a decade now. Now I’m off to the races again.”
That’s rare for someone that young to suffer from that ailment – my mom had that as an older woman, and, it is very painful – you have to change your diet to help offset the attacks – you can’t eat junk stuff.
It’s a very debilitating condition. It sidelined mma star Brock for over half a year & he lost about 50 pounds b/c he could barely eat with that condition.
Same with my mom – she lost a lot of weight, cause what you eat, you regurgitate it because your colon is inflammed, that is why you have to do a complete change of foods you eat – and that is the toughest part is to start eating oatmeal everyday, when you used to eating other greasy type foods……
