*Recently the American Heart Association’s Harlem Go Red For Women Educational Forum and Luncheon honored leaders in the Harlem community and showed support for the fight against the nation’s No. 1 killer of women: heart disease. They’re encouraging women everywhere to make it their mission to fight the disease.
Among the notables on hand to show support was Egypt Sherrod, WBLS radio and TV personality, Star Jones, TV personality, national volunteer for the American Heart Association and Master of Ceremonies and AHA’s first African-American president Dr. Clyde Yancy.
