*On last night’s episode of “Lopez Tonight,” Prince popped up on the phone to make a couple of announcements.
Not only will he perform on the show in person next Wednesday (April 13) but he’s also launching a 21-night residency in Los Angeles on the following day.
“I will be starting a 21-night stand next Thursday the 14th at the L.A. Forum with the New Power Generation and a whole gang of special guests,” Prince said. “I’m gonna blast the roof off that place, I promise!”
A rep for the singer later clarified to the Los Angeles Times that not all of the dates will be at the Forum, and said details will be available soon.
