*During an appearance on “Lopez Tonight” Thursday, Snoop Dogg said he was personally phoned by the Queen of England and asked to write a tune for her grandson Prince William ahead of his wedding to Kate Middleton.
The rapper told Lopez that Queen Elizabeth II requested “somethin’ special for her grandkid. So why not? Let me do it. I’m the best one when it comes to throwin’ parties anyway.”
Snoop said he wrote “Wet” as a special anthem for the royal “stag” party. He explained, “I want him to have a little bit of fun before he get married … to see all the girls that you gonna be able to see before you lie down with that one. And enjoy yourself.”
