*The song “Friday” from YouTube it-girl of the moment Rebecca Black may have gotten 82 millions hits and counting due to the profound banality of its lyrics, but it was reimagined by rap collective the Roots and Comedy Central’s Stephen Colbert during a performance on “Jimmy Fallon.”

Colbert was joined by Black Thought (who handles the song’s rap), “American Idol” champ Taylor Hicks and the New York Knicks cheerleaders during a broadcast that aired on — what else — Friday, which also happened to be April Fools Day.
