*50 Cent’s line of headphones has been terminated just three months after its launch, reports Engadget.com.
The rapper partnered with engineers at Sleek Audio to create a line of wireless accessories that were unveiled in January at the Consumer Electronic Show (CES) in Las Vegas. [Watch below.]
But on Friday (May 6), executives at the technology company said the deal with 50 Cent’s G-Unit company has come to an end.
“Sleek Audio today announced the termination of the Brand License Agreement between Sleek Audio LLC (Sleek) and G-Unit Brands, Inc. (G-Unit), 50 Cent’s licensing company,” read a press release from Sleek Audio boss Mark Krywko. “We will be re-evaluating our Wireless Hybrid over-the-ear headphones at a later date.”
