*BET wasn’t too nice to artists Keyshia Cole and Trina this year, leaving the ladies to vent to their fans.
If you haven’t heard, the sexy hood chicks were left off the nominations list for the 2011 BET Awards and they just aren’t taking it too well. Keyshia took to Twitter and let it all hang out.
“That awkward moment when u realize in everyone’s eyes [you’re] not the sh*t anymore. #POW. I’ve officially got the memo. Thank mtv/bet.”
Some would argue the woman is very deserving of at least a nod in one category, but the network was not feeling her.
“Its like this. Been on the scene 7 years. I was 21 when I got signed. 7 # 1 records. No awards 4 none of them/still touring. It is Wht it is,” Keyshia tweeted before taking the posts down a short time later. “These types of thing R the way they R. I’m not upset about any of it in any way. I hope everyone that goes has a wonderful time.”
Trina, who was also snubbed by BET in the Best Female Hip-Hop Artist category, also vented. She tweeted, “f*ck BET…”
On the other hand, those nominated include Beyonce, Marsha Ambrosius, Keri Hilson, Jennifer Hudson, and Rihanna for R&B Artist.
