*Oprah Winfrey took her BFF Maria Shriver out to dinner in Chicago the night before news broke that her husband Arnold Schwarzenegger fathered a child with another woman ten years ago.
Maria – who is the former first lady of California – and her daughters dined with Oprah and her boyfriend Stedman Graham and best friend Gayle King at the city’s RL restaurant.
A source told People.com: “She was there with her daughters. The reservation was in Oprah’s name.”
The next day, Shriver joined a bevy of celebrities bidding Winfrey a farewell during a four-hour taping of her “Oprah Winfrey Show.”
In a statement regarding news that her husband had fathered a love child, Maria requested that the media respect her privacy during the hard time.
In a statement she said: “This is a painful and heartbreaking time. As a mother, my concern is for the children. I ask for compassion, respect and privacy as my children and I try to rebuild our lives and heal. I will have no further comment.”
In my hearts of heart I believe Maria already knew. Because if those rumors were swirling around back in 2001, she had to know there was some truth to it. And now that it has been revealed that the “love child” is 14…come on now…she knew. We women have that “women’s intuition” and know when something AIN’T SMELLING RIGHT! It’s just embarassing for it to finally come out to the public. She’s a Kennedy and a lot of those wives stayed for the sake of the family. I guess now that AHHNOLD’S political career is over, she was like… I’M OUTTIE PUNK B!TCH!
Yes I believed she knew as well or at least knew he’s been dipping out on her. It isn’t a surprise because Arn always have been known to be quite a charmer or extra friendly with the ladies.
You are so on point, we women pretty much know when somthing is not right, now accepting that fact is another story; I think she rode it out until his final days in office as governor were over. Still such disrespect in house jump off on the payroll………
