*Who’d a thunk it? Robin Quivers will likely step out on her own and leave the Howard Stern radio show.
Quivers told Radar Online that after 3 decades, it’s time to do her thing.
“I love to do radio and television and I’ve always wanted my own television show, so I’ve been putting out feelers for those kinds of things,” said the long time sidekick to Stern.
And since Oprah is vacating daytime TV, ms Quivers would love nothing better than to replace her.
“It will be like a talk show, but with subjects that I’d be interested in,” Quivers told Radar of her television plans. “I think I have some interesting things to say and I don’t think anybody out there is saying them.”

WOW!! everyone and his mama wants to take Oprah’s palce as daytime queen, only time will tell whatr shows will become successful. It is about time for Robin to leave that jerk Stern, all of the so nasty unnnecessary things he has said over the years and she was right in there with him so, we will see how the public responds to her in a talk show format.
I have to agree with errybody so far. I don’t know why this chick thinks that anyone, especially black folks, will take her seriously after being Stern’s “yassah massah” woman for 30 years. The type of things Robin sat there co-signing and snickering with Stern about will never endear her to the general public…and Blacks in particular. She clearly has little pride and will flop bigtime due to lack of content and support.

What is so funny is that Sterns own fans express the very same sentiments toward Quivers that everyone here is dishing. Other sites that reported this are chock full of Stern fans spouting love for him and distaste for her.

Stern has never (this is not her first attempt at “freedom”) and will never lift a finger to help her. He could do for her what Oprah did for Dr. Phil, Rachel Ray, Andre Walker and countless others but why should he? In Sterns’ universe Quivers is just another sycophant…maybe his most loyal and obedient sycophant but still not worthy of his benevolence. He has probably convinced her that his lack of help will build “character” for her and she will still worship at his alter. Sad, sad, sad.

This is so true…we observe this IRL all the time! There was a sellout at my old firm and he was coal black but identified strictly as native american. He completely shunned the 2 Blacks there, but one her was terminated all the whites gave him the azz to kiss and wouldn’t even accept his calls when he reached out to them. One of us had to tell him straight out they no longer wanted any parts of him. The folks they grovel to serve actually have no respect for them…and they always find this out at the end.
