Whitney Houston and daughter Bobbi Christina enjoy Prince's April 29th concert at The Forum in L.A.

*TMZ is reporting that Whitney Houston was actually banned from a series of Prince concerts before being admitted to rehab around 10 days ago.

The 47-year-old singer – who has a history of substance abuse issues – was reportedly told not to attend anymore of the Purple One’s shows after she appeared “intoxicated” at every concert she went to in the run-up to her entering a treatment facility to seek help for her addictions.

TMZ says organizers eventually grew tired with Whitney’s demands after she pestered them for free tickets and then demanded to be let up on stage.

An insider told the website: “They didn’t want her to embarrass herself.”

After eventually being banned from the gigs due to her increasingly “erratic behavior,” Whitney voluntarily entered an out-patient rehab program earlier this month.

Her rep recently confirmed: “Whitney Houston is currently in an out-patient rehab program for drug and alcohol treatment. Whitney voluntarily entered the program to support her long-standing recovery process.”

The facility reportedly allows the singer – who was pictured at a Prince concert last weekend – to leave the facility, as long as she is accompanied by a monitor.

A witness at the April 29th show tells EUR that Prince wouldn’t even allow Whitney on stage that night, but he apparently gave in to her requests several shows later.
