*Target will sell an exclusive version of Beyoncé’s “4” that contains extra tracks, retail sources tell Billboard.
At press time, it was unclear just how many additional tracks will be included on the set, due June 28. One source said four, but another said the contents of the exclusive package had not been finalized.
Several online reports provide an unconfirmed tracklisting for a European deluxe edition that includes six extra tracks: “Lay Up Under Me,” “Schoolin’ Life,” “Dance for You” and three remixes of “Run the World (Girls).”
Billboard quotes sources who say Sony Music Entertainment will be shipping about 1 million units of the CD version of the album.
So far, Beyoncé has unveiled three of the 12 core songs from the album: “Run the World (Girls),” “1+1,” which was performed on “American Idol” season finale, and “Best Thing I Never Had,” which was released last week. [Listen below.]
