*Bishop Eddie Long is launching satellite branches of his Lithonia, GA-based New Birth Missionary Baptist Church, and announced Sunday that the first one is in Birmingham, Ala.
The church is called New Birth Birmingham, reports the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. And New Birth Denver is currently in the works.
Long also said the Lithonia megachurch recently received its certified audit back from 2010 and 2009. He didn’t explain why the audit was conducted. “All your money’s being done right and being calculated right,” he said from the pulpit, then asked parishioners with deep pockets to make larger donations ($500 to $1,000) as a seed for the ministry, the newspaper reports.
Four lawsuits against Long and the Lithonia megachurch were recently dismissed in DeKalb County State Court. Four young men allege Long coerced them into sexual relations using trips, gifts and jobs. Settlement terms are confidential.
Hmmmm… I’m tired of reading about this dude. If his church gives him the money then so be it.

Personally from the looks of Mrs. Long, she may have had a clue about something. People marry their own kind or at least someone they can relate to. Not saying she was in on it. But I don’t believe she did not know he was Bi-Sexual. A woman her age, seasoned in the nature of a man definately should have known. She’d been previously married. Bells of some sort should have been ringing off just at his facial expression and mannerisms alone. I know gay eyes, lips, body language, whether it be a masculine or an effeminate gay man. I’ve been married 3 times twice to men with experience in the area. I saw no reason why I should not marry a man who was honest about confusion in his past as long as he did not “act out” those impulses with me. If he ever felt those impulses I encouraged him to be honest. Of course I never promised I would not break up or divorce him if he associated himself with homosexual or gay men while in relationship with me. Too many straight men out there for me to concern myself with competeing with his “friends” . I also have gay friends so I know what the signs are. I think Eddie Longs wife knew something and this is why she remains silent so far.
I am sick of members of his church posting to defend him clearly they worship Long and not the God who has created Long and judges both Long and the whole world according to His infallible word.
I think that everyone here should go to the scripture and read Gods Word on the requirement of a Man to hold the office of Bishop. Eddie Long was never a “Bishop” to begin with according to the word of God . No effiminate man, only a man who had one wife, certainly not a homosexual man can be a Bishop or leader a flock. He was obviously not a Godly man. This is something I recognized by glance alone. These are not my words but are specificly in the Holy Scriptures. Now there is a similar list of qualifications to a bishop which is included in Titus 1. Open your Bible and read for yourself as many of you probably never have ever done before. Too many sit in front of a TV or would rather warm a pew and get unnecessarily emotional because some well versed man in a suit sounds good and makes us shout and cry (you think you got the HOLY GHOST) then open up the God’s Word and read to know that you are being decieved. You can’t listen or learn from anybody else spoon feeding you their own views and BS. Gaurd your emotions, watch and pray compare everyman who claims to be of God by Gods Optimum Standards!

Say what you want about forgiveness about Bishop Long. He made a big mistake blaspheming the Holy Spirit when he took upon himself to decieve millions. Not just through his church but traveling abroad and telecasting his deciet. To pity him would be to pity Satan himself. Let God have his way with this man. As the following scripture reads Our Creator is not please and does not feel SORRY for him. True repentence and sin no more is his only hope and only God will know for sure his sincerity
“Don’t you know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived… no effeminate person… will inherit the kingdom of God.” (I Corinthians 6:9-10)
Why does his wife look like she’s been had here make up done by a transvestite drag queen. And what is up with a green wig. Something about this strikes me as a tad bit strange for a so-called Bishops wife.
