Karega Ani is a nationally recognized Poet. A collaborator with such notables as Amp Fiddler, Malik Alston, and Piranhahead and a member of the Top 10 National Slam Poetry Teams from Houston and Detroit (‘02 – 04, ‘06). He has shared the stage with literary luminaries such as Saul Williams, The Last Poets, Mutabaruka and many more. Karega Ani pens and delivers heartfelt and evocative works created with a singular purpose in mind – Healing. Karega laid down his pen in order to care for his young son in 2008.
