*Tracy Morgan stunned audience members at his show in Nashville last week after launching into a series of derogatory remarks about the gay community.

According to Hollywood Gossip, the “30 Rock” star was performing at the Ryman Auditorium on June 3 when he allegedly told the sold-out crowd, “Gays need to quit being pussies and not be whining about something as insignificant as bullying.”

He later suggested that being homosexual was something kids “learn from the media and programming,” and said he would stab his own son if he ever talked to him “in a gay voice.”

It was reported that several audience members walked out of the show following the remarks. The venue has since issued a statement apologizing to those offended by Morgan’s routine, saying, “The Ryman Auditorium regrets that people were offended by statements made by Tracy Morgan during his June 3 appearance. The Ryman does not control the content presented by people appearing on its stage, nor does it endorse any of the views of, or statements made by, such persons.”
