Jasmine Diaz

*As love continues to dominate the media, books and television, celebrity matchmaker Jasmine Diaz has professed to have mastered the crazy little game called love and carved it into a business. Jasmine is the founder and owner of the Shawn Mackenzi agency, a premium matchmaking service that started twelve years ago.

The happily married Mrs. Diaz is raking in TV credits as a matchmaker on such shows as LisaRaye: The Real McCoy (TV1), Big Girls Club (VH1), and when the deal closes fans and love seekers just may see her on her own show called Millionaire Matchmaker on the Bravo network.

And what nuptials can we accredit to Her Royal Highness of Hook Ups? Well, her clients include celebrities and athletes serviced from offices extending from LA, to DC, Chicago, Atlanta, Miami, New York, Houston and Philadelphia.

As the air intensifies around the opening of the Warner Bros. Pictures release of Crazy Stupid Love starring Steve Carrell and Ryan Gosling, we wonder is there any perfect formula for love? Carrell’s character Cal Weaver is in for a rude awakening when he learns that his wife Emily (played by Julianne Moore) has had an affair. He has clearly lost touch with himself and his relationship.  Is this the kind of guy who is ever attractive to anyone other than the ingénue or mid-life maiden in the movies? While you’ll have to wait for the movie to open to see how it turns out, Los Angles will be favored with a sneak peak of Crazy Stupid Love, Thursday night, July 21, at a private screening at Hollywood’s Arch Light Theater. On hand will be Diaz – the celebrity host and matchmaker – who will greet guests, talk about the things we all share when it comes to love and certainly muse our similarities to the characters in the new movie.
