TMZ is reporting that Mathew Knowles has filed legal papers which now explain why Beyonce fired him as her manager. He claims she’s under the impression he stole lots of money from her, but Daddy Knowles says it just isn’t so.
In the documents — obtained by TMZ — Mathew Knowles claims Live Nation Entertainment wanted desperately to sink its fangs into Beyonce’s 2011 world tour.
According to the docs, Mathew claims Live Nation told Beyonce that Mathew “had stolen money from Beyonce on her most recent tour or otherwise taken funds that [he] was not entitled to.”
Mathew claims Live Nation was effective, because Beyonce had her law firm conduct an audit, and the law firm concluded Mathew had indeed pilfered money from her. Beyonce then fired him.
Mathew claims after he was canned, Beyonce hired a manager who had worked as a former exec at Live Nation and maintained a relationship with the company.
Mathew insists the theft accusations by Live Nation are false, and he wants the judge to give him the right to take depositions of various people at Live Nation, to determine just how they concluded he was a thief.
As of EUR’s publication time, Beyonce’s camp had not responded to a request for a comment.

But what would the multi platinum billionaire Beyonce be if it wasn’t for Mathew Knowles, her father and mentor? Can she ever begin to repay him for what he has done for her? Is this how she repays him, by allying with outsiders against her own flesh and blood? Does she really think those people care about her the way her family does? So what if he took some extra cash here or there? Everything that she has is because of him.
Beyonce, at the end of the day, all you got is your mom, your dad and your sis. Forget JZ and his entourage, they will never mean as much to you as your own flesh and blood. They just want to get theirs at the expense of your family.

I hope it is not true but like Reds said Matthew is the mastermind behind his daughter’s success. Bey handle your business and keep a relationship with your Dad. I am sure if she needs him he will be there for her regardless.
I might be wrong about this but doesn’t Jay Z own some stock in Live Nation? Or is simply an artist working for the company? I’m no fan of Beyonce or her father but I find it strange that all of a sudden he would steal from his daughter after all these years.
I don’t care if her father is the reason behind her career, she is the one on that stage doing all the hard work to continue her career not her father. He was her manager so he was getting his own money and he has no right taking money from her (if this is true that is).
We do not know if this story is true because Beyonce does not discuss her personal biz anyway. So the media can only speculate the real reason Matthew is no longer managing his daughter. At this point in Beyonce’s career she is already established all that is needed now is to maintain all of her success.
I don’t care if Matthew was instrumental in his daughter career – parent’s aren’t suppose to steal from their kids and anyone else for that matter! This is something we instill in our kids at birth.. “stealing is wrong”! The fact that he is allege to have possibly done this is scary in itself! People are now going to recall the reasons why a lot of her former band mates left his managerial guidance? Some of the posters here in this forum conclude it’s ok/alright for a parent to embezzle money from their offspring! Then apparently someone has a real problem being a decent human being! Like the saying goes – “sometimes family are the first to do you wrong”!
As usual, we love to jump to conclusions. Can we at least wait to see how Matthew’s case turns out before we pull out the pitchforks? Of course, it’s wrong to steal from your child. But there are people in the industry that have a way of turning artists against their managerial parents or family as being vultures or thieves. Let’s wait this out….
