*Ever since Media Take Out and In Touch Weekly reported that Stacey Dash was fired from VH1’s “Single Ladies,” fans have bombarded co-star LisaRaye’s Facebook page believing she had something to do with it, reports Sandra Rose.
LisaRaye, who tweeted the below photos of herself on vacation in Europe, finally addressed the rumors with the following message posted to her FB wall:
“As everyone knows I am in Italy vacationing. I was just made aware of the lies that are being spread by Mediatakeout and other blogs that like to create false stories. I was not even aware that Stacy Dash had been fired from Single Ladies. Furthermore if she has been fired that is a network decision. I don’t have the power to get her fired nor do I have any beef with her. Now im going to go continue enjoying my vacation!
In Touch Weekly reported that Dash was not asked to return for season 2. The outlet cited sources who said Stacey “feuded with the cast, cancelled promos and caused entirely too much drama.”
Stacey and LisaRaye were reportedly involved in a fight on set a few months ago, which resulted in Dash reportedly storming off the set.
According to In Touch, casting is already underway for her replacement so that they can begin shooting the next season.
It is also rumored that producer Queen Latifah put in the call to fire Stacey herself.

The networks don’t necessarily have anything to do with the hiring and firing on shows. Most of the time it’s actually the producers of the show. Though some producers have been made to eat crow because networks will step in when a popular actor/actress is released and there is even the slightest hint of ratings falling.
I never watched the show, anything with LisaRaye in it is an automatic pass for me so, I could care less. Don’t expect the show to get past the second season.
They need to fire the whole damn cast because can’t nobody on the show act!!

Oh well, another one bites the dust. Queen probably had her dumped because she was not going to go with that whole lesbian storyline. Queen needs to be that all on her own. She’s been out the closet for years.
Love Queen La but her shows (this and that couples show on BET) in the 21st century are wack. Now, if they bring in Kim Fields or Erika Alexander as somebody’s replacement, I will watch.

i hope this isnt tru…i like this show..and now im use to the faces..if it changes i dont think it will feel the same i like the steemy dialog…its just a vh-1 show lighten up people..this is why we cant keep a show…we always expect to damm much..seriously what are you giving……i like the fact it deals with gay,straight, bisexual situations…its real things we all go tru….let it be,,what the hell is ratings anymore just deliver a show let the story take you 4 a ride till the end…i mean hell look at desparate house wives i liked it but it also had its flaws..

I cannot believe how someone that fortunate to be blesed to have a job on tv goes and get fired? The type of money they make and to lose it by doing something so trivial is just beyond me! Now – she is going to have to audition for other parts and with the media reporting that she’s hard to work with she will be “black-listed” in the movie industry! Plus – how the hell can she be “acting the diva”, as she has only been in few movies!? I can see if she had extensive movie rolls with credentials – her claim to fame: ‘Clueless’, and she wasn’t all that in that movie! I hope she saved her money!!!
I’ve never really watched a whole episode from start to end but from the tidbits I saw, I liked Stacy Dash more so than Lisa Raye. I see Lisa Raye being just like her fag ass sister, Da Brat, just ghetto 24/7. Remember when Lisa married that Prime Minister whore and thought she was the black version of Princess Di only to get dissed and dismissed. Did anyone remember her hair style for their wedding? She should have sued the hair stylist because it looked a backwards turban!
