Organizers of “Michael Forever — The Tribute Concert” announced Thursday that Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Leona Lewis and the band Alien Ant Farm, famous for its cover of Jackson’s song “Smooth Criminal, will join previously-announced David and members of the Jackson family for the scheduled Oct. 8 show at Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, Wales.
While the event is endorsed by the singer’s mother and some of his siblings, brothers Randy and Jermaine Jackson have protested its timing. The concert is scheduled during the trial of Dr. Conrad Murray, who is charged in Jackson’s death.
The singer’s estate is also not affiliated with the concert.

The really huge superstarss turned down the invite – the excuse scheduling problems. Hmmmmm!!! I wonder if they know something we don’t. I still do not understand why he concert will be held in Wales. Als, I do not see the need to have a tribute concert every year why not have a big one on the 10th anniversary of Michael’s death and then the 20th and so forth. Doesn’t that make more sense????
Probably because (knowing how irresponsible the Jacksons are with all matters concerning Mike and his estate $$ isn’t affiliated), Wales is footing the bill for the venue…why haven’t they listed Janet as a participant?
I think I read Janet is one of those in the family against the concert…….
This Tribute concert started off on the wrong foot with a very convoluted ticket pricing. This is another Tribute that’s taking a shot at capitalizing on Michael Jackson’ s death without any shame. The trial is still going on, and as a diehard fan I’d say Justice before profits. What’s the matter with the Jackson Family? They have become a runaway train, how can we trust them at this point?
