*“Basketball Wives” the L.A. edition is getting closer to the reveal and some photos were released this week.
The new cast includes Gloria Govan (fiancée of Laker’s Matt Barnes), Laura Govan (sister to Gloria Govan), Kimsha Artest (ex-wife to Ron Artest), Imani Showalter (ex-fiancée to Stephen Jackson), Malaysia Pargo (wife to Jannero Pargo), Jackie Christie (wife of Doug Christie) and Draya Michele (model and actress).
Although many are excited about the new show, Shaunie O’Neal, the brain behind the show’s creation, has been very blunt about her dislike of the new cast.
“There’s a little bit of trash kind of sprinkled into that cast that I’m totally against. I was really very hands-off with that cast,” she said.
The show premieres August 29 on VH1.
Trash in the LA cast??? Shaunie, I hope you do not think you have classy ladies in the Miami cast. WOW!! she has a lot of nerve!!
Shaunie is sprinkled right in with the rest of the trash, because she created this piece of sh!t. I think this b!tch actually think she did something brilliant.

Shaunie is going to reap the rewards off of this show and others. Talk about “selling” off your race for profit! But wait – when your kids become of age, you will have some explaining to do – especially during black history month! When your legacy will be – “The Demoralization of Black Women on TV” and the instigator of this melee … you, Shaunie O’neill! Shaunie if you think you are classy – then Heidi Fleiss is Mother Theresa in disguise!

Tami – I can see why Kenny is no longer married to her. She starts too many … with too many women (including off camera). She needs to grow up and act her age instead of trying to keep the fuel burning (like fighting with Meeka). However, she was probably telling the truth about Evelyn and Jen when she said, “This b….. and this b….. doesn’t even like you (Meeka)!” If you notice that she has had a confrontation with Jen (food stamps), Evelyn (Kenny), and Meeka (gossip). She needs to really get her angry under control before someone ends up hurting her in a bad way.
Evelyn – Maybe Royce was right about her when she said, “Your still a hoe!” She cannot talk about anyone because she messed around with Tami’s ex (Kenny) before they were divorced. She needs to stay out of everybody’s business. Shaunie – I cannot believe how two-faced she can be and … Words cannot describe her actions.
None of these so called women (they should be referred to as ladies) have any class. Listen up ladies that are currently involved or no longer involved with a basketball player, PLEASE DO NOT BE PART OF THIS TRASHY SHOW!
