Fantasia’s Unborn Baby’s Daddy Still Married?

*After announcing her pregnancy over the weekend, it was revealed that the father of Fantasia’s unborn baby is still married. Well, that’s just heresy since the singer hasn’t really talked about who the father is. But all are assuming the father is Antwaun Cook, the married man she had an affair with.

Radar Online is reporting that the father is Cook (pictured below) and that he is still married to Paula Cook.

“Antwaun told Paula that Fantasia was pregnant early on,” an insider told Radar. “He wanted her to hear it from him before word got out in the press. Paula was really hurt when he left her for Fantasia, so it’s like the knife that was already in her back is being twisted now.”

Fantasia made the announcement at the opening of the Riverview Apartments in Jacksonville, Fla. on Sunday. She said, “This child that I carry. God has given me this child. And I don’t have to hide it from none of y’all.”

First of all, EUR, it’s “hearsay”. “Heresy” is a little too strong a word, even for this mess.

Second, ‘Tasia’s performing at apartment openings now? Are there no county fair bookings available to her?

People are losing homes to foreclosures, getting laid off jobs, pulling their kids out of college, having trouble feeding the family and somebody got time to worry about who sumbody’s baby daddy is. My MaMa always told me, “it takes 24 hours to take care of your business and we’ll never have 25!” Fanteeking

The correct word is “heresay” NOT “heresy”….that said, there’s no other act of betrayal than a “married man” getting a woman other than his wife pregnant….and to have said “other” woman crow about it, is worthy of nothing less than a public thrashing…this is ghetto, to be proud of getting “ups” on a woman by having her man’s child…I’ve always tried not to think “low” of Fanny but, this low, is a new high….granted she’s not the first, nor that last woman having a married man’s baby but, she’s what’s on the menu today .

They sure do!!! Then the next thing they say is “Don’t judge, only God can judge me.” That is SO tired…

Yes, “God gave her” a baby from another woman’s husband. Great, Hallelujah. *rolling eyes*

You try to really look past these people’s private lives and only focus on their music (and I think Fantasia is a super talented performer), but when they do ish like this, it’s just so hard to separate the two!

I don’t recall anybody giving alicia keys a pass for messing with a married man. There were some folks who tried to justify it but there were alot of folks who weren’t justifying her actions too. And there are plenty people justifying Fantasia too.

I know we live in a time where it is “every man for himself”, but there is a bigger picture that affects us as people in general. Hopefully someday before it is too late, you will come to realize it.

      How low can we go?

She is a hot mess! Every time I see her in a magazine or television ad it’s something negative concerning “Baby Momma Drama”! She is too dam old to placing herself in this type of foolishness. She has a kid herself and to subject not only the kid – but her family and friends along for this madness is ludicrous! Remember, a few months ago she tried to take her life with pills and drinks. If she has time to do all of this crap – then she should have time to pick up a book, learn real estate, or return to school and better herself educationally and stop letting people take advantage of her money or falling into financial pitfalls! So many other things she could be working on instead of always being the victim of drama!

First of all, Mr. Cook has been on the outs with his wife for awhile — plus the dude may be this/close to finalizing his divorce. Therefore I’m not going to harp on his marital status. What I WILL harp on is his money status — why did Fannie Mae let herself get knocked up by this fool with NO money and NO future??? Didn’t she learn the lesson from her family drama and the financial drain they put her through?

Great to know that when I buy another Fantasia song or album, a piece of that money is going to Antwan’s BROKE AZZ!

    • Snicker says:

I think I would be more worried about a man’s marital status than his wallet. Fantasia has her own money so that shouldn’t be her main concern. Being “on the outs” with your wife isn’t the same as divorced so he was still married “on the outs” or not.

Who made the decision that it is now acceptable for a woman to be what was once called a tramp or a whore? Did I miss the press conference? It’s time we speak out about the wanton immorality in our community. It is time to cry loud and spare not.

There has never been anything attractive about Fantasia that would warrant a man to leave his family other than wanting a taste of the limelight and fame. Dude just wants to mingle with the celebrities. As for what she see in him, well…..judging from this picture, he is a Kappa, so he posess some type of swag and he may seem intelligent to her b/c he entered a college. Don’t believe he graduated if he was working at T-mobile service center.
