*Here’s a straight up bizarre story for you.
Solange Knowles is accusing Miami Beach PD of pulling a weapon on her for doing nothing this past weekend.
“I have literally had my last leg with discriminating police! Miami police department will be notified,” Solange writes on Twitter. “A police officer just pulled a weapon on me…. I have done NOTHING illegal, against the law, or anything of the sort. I am simply tired of police using arrogance, ego and authority as an offense.”
The incident, according to police, started because Solange was denied entry into Miami Beach’s Club Cameo because she was carrying a five-foot inflatable banana. But the singer says that’s not the whole story. She’s crying discrimination. She’s going to fight it.
“I’m only tweeting this to raise awareness. I could have left quietly, but I am sick & tired of this scenario being played over & over again,” she says. “I’m ok. I’m safe & sound at my apartment. I’m just beyond frustrated with the system. It is time to do something about it. I am a mother raising a young black child in America. I’m going to die trying!”
But the Miami PD says her whole fuss is being taken out of proportion. In fact, the purported incident didn’t even happen in Miami as Solange originally tweeted. Apparently she meant to say Miami Beach.
“Over the weekend, the lion’s share of the mainstream and entertainment media reported that the Miami Police Department had a confrontation with Solange Knowles, the sister of Beyoncé Knowles of record and movie fame. We have investigated and found that this incident DID NOT occur in our city,” said Miami Police Commander Delrish Moss.
Well, all we can say is something isn’t quite right with this story. The bottom line is that we’re puzzled and don’t what to think. How about you?

Somebody is lying…..and I see no reason why the police would say it didn’t happen AT ALL in their city. So that only leave one liar, I’m just saying.
Um…is it just me or does anyone else seeing early signs of schizophrenia being displayed by Solange in this story?

Hmmm, I’ll reserve my judgment on Miami PD for now but I’m just curious to why they pulled her over in the first place. I would like to hear their side. I wonder if she would have made a twitter announcement how she would like to bring “awareness” if they knew she was Beyonce’s sister and let her just go without any hesitation. It’s never a problem until they are treated like “regular folk”.

That’s terrible the way they tried to belittle Solange’s fame and made it like she’s just some obscure sister of Beyonce’s. Solange might not be on the same level as Beyonce, but she has made a name for herself.
